Privacy Policy

The Designed Life  ·  Last updated: 22 June 2026

The Designed Life (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by The Designed Life (ABN 81 623 495 205). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using kellyadams.au (the “website”) or providing us with your information, you agree to this policy.

1. What personal information we collect

We only collect information we reasonably need. This may include:

  • Contact details — your first name, last name and email address, provided when you complete the self-audit opt-in, contact us, or book a session.
  • Booking and service information — details you share when you book or take part in a paid session (e.g. a Design Audit or Intensive).
  • Communications — the content of messages and emails you send us.
  • Technical and usage data — information collected automatically when you visit the website, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and how you interact with the site (via cookies and analytics).
Self-audit answers: the on-page self-audit is scored in your own browser. We do not collect, store, or see your individual answers or score — only the name and email you provide to access it.

2. How we collect it

We collect personal information:

  • directly from you (forms, bookings, emails, calls);
  • automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the website; and
  • occasionally from third-party tools and platforms we use to run our business (see section 5).

3. Why we collect and use it

We use your personal information to:

  • deliver the self-audit and the resources you request;
  • respond to your enquiries and provide our services;
  • send you emails, updates and marketing you’ve opted in to receive;
  • manage bookings and payments for paid sessions;
  • improve our website, content and services; and
  • meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We will only use your information for the purpose it was collected, a related purpose you’d reasonably expect, or where you’ve consented.

4. Marketing and your choices

If you opt in, we may send you emails about our content, offers and services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us at [email protected]. We will action opt-out requests promptly.

5. Third parties we share information with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, and only as needed to provide our services. These may include:

  • Tekmatix / HighLevel — our website hosting, forms, CRM and email delivery platform;
  • email, scheduling and payment providers used to deliver communications, bookings and payments; and
  • analytics providers (e.g. website analytics) that help us understand site usage.

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how it’s used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function properly if you do. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

7. How we store and protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including through the security measures of the platforms we use. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete; and
  • ask us to delete your information, where we’re able to.

To make a request, email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first, and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

9. Complaints

If you believe we’ve mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe we have, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

11. Third-party links

Our website may link to other websites we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its “last updated” date. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
